How can I return an order?
Not completely satisfied? We find that just as annoying as you do. That's why we will resolve it as soon as possible.
You can return an order. However, your return shipment must meet a number of conditions;
Within 14 days of receipt, you must notify us in writing that you wish to return the order via email.
After notification, you have a further 14 days to actually return the order.
Please include a note with the shipment (inside the box) with the order number and, if applicable, the reason for return.
You have not used the item and, if it is a consumable product, the bag or packaging is unopened.
The item is not personalised, for example, printed with your own logo or specially ground for you.
You still have the original packaging of the product.
You have not tried to repair any possible damage yourself.
After receiving your return, we will refund the amount to your account within 14 days.
You can submit your cancellation online via our cancellation page. For customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France, a return label at a reduced rate is available after submitting the return. From other countries you can send the parcel to our address with sufficient postage. Always ask for proof of postage from the parcel service you use.
How can I exchange a product?
At Café du Jour we have a money-back policy for returns. If you wish to exchange a product, you can return the original product and receive a refund. You can then place a new order for the desired product yourself.

What are the conditions for returning products?
You can return a product within 14 days of receipt if it meets the following conditions:
The product is unused and in original condition.
You still have the original packaging.
For sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons: once the seal is broken, return is no longer possible.
Freshly roasted coffee and tea remain covered by the right of cancellation, even after the packaging has been opened, provided they have not been used beyond a sample taste.
Personalised products or coffee specially ground for you are excluded from return.

How long does it take before I get my money back?
Upon receipt of your return, we will process the refund within 14 days. The amount will be refunded via the original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 1–3 working days for the amount to appear in your account.
I have received the wrong item or something is missing from my order. What now?
Sorry for the inconvenience; that is of course not our intention. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of the incorrect item. Together we will find a suitable solution.
