Are the beans from the Italian Espresso Selection suitable for a bean to cup machine?

Yes, all four varieties are whole beans and suitable for espresso machines, bean to cup machines and filter coffee makers. The Segafredo Intermezzo and the Lazarro Barista Caffè Crema are the lightest roasted and therefore the easiest for a bean to cup machine.

The Lazarro Espresso Dark Roast and the De Roccis Qualità Oro Intenso are roasted darker. Our customer service often explains that darker roasted beans can be more oily, which means ground coffee builds up more easily in the machine with prolonged use. A single bag normally causes no problems, but stick to the cleaning schedule of your machine if you drink dark roast more often.

How do you make Good night herbal tea?

Use about 2 grams of loose leaf tea per cup and pour boiling water over it. Let the herbs steep for 5 to 8 minutes; a longer steeping time makes herbal tea fuller and not bitter. Cover your cup or pot while it steeps, so the volatile aromas of the blossom are better preserved.

How often should I replace the MAXTRA+ filter of the Brita Marella XL?

We advise replacing the MAXTRA+ filter cartridge about every four weeks. The BRITA Memo in the lid keeps track of that period for you and shows when it is time. If you use the jug intensively or have very hard water, it can be sensible to change it a little sooner.

How much Arabica and Robusta is in Passalacqua Grancaffé?

The blend consists of eighty percent Arabica and twenty percent Robusta. The Arabica provides aroma and refinement, the Robusta adds body and a firm crema.

On our intensity scale Grancaffé is at 8 out of 13, in other words powerful. The flavour profile is full, spicy and aromatic.

How do you make the Mixed Nuts fruit tea?

Allow around 2 grams of loose tea per cup, which is roughly a level teaspoon. Use a tea strainer or a filter bag, because this is loose tea with pieces of fruit and nut.

You can pour boiling water over fruit tea. Let the tea steep for around 5 to 8 minutes: the longer the steeping time, the fuller the flavour.

At what temperature and for how long do you brew China Jasmine?

We recommend water at around 80 degrees and a steeping time of 2 to 3 minutes. Boiling water makes green tea bitter and burns the delicate jasmine aroma, so let the kettle stand for a few minutes first. Use around 2 grams of loose-leaf tea per cup. If you find it too weak, extend the steeping time rather than using hotter water.

Where does the chocolate flavour of Chocolate Cookie tea come from?

From real cocoa beans mixed through the blend, together with sugared almonds and flavouring. The rooibos and black tea form the base and provide the soft, slightly sweet undertone. There is no chocolate or biscuit in it; you taste the chocolate note, but you are simply drinking tea.

How do I fit the CLARIS Smart+ filter in my Jura bean to cup machine?

You place the filter in the water tank of your JURA bean to cup machine. Thanks to the Intelligent Water System with RFID technology the machine recognises the filter by itself, so you do not have to change any settings. After that, follow the message on the display of your machine, for example to rinse the filter through. Your JURA's manual has the final say here.

In which machines can I use this ground illy coffee with decaf?

This illy is finely ground for espresso. You can use it in an espresso machine and in a moka pot; for a filter machine the grind is too fine. Never put ground coffee in the bean hopper of a bean to cup machine, because that is only for whole beans. If your bean to cup machine has a separate ground coffee chute, use it according to the manual of your machine.

How many cups can you brew with the 700 ml Hario V60 Iced Coffee Maker?

The server has a capacity of 700 ml and is intended for 2 to 4 cups at a time.

The whole set measures 165 by 120 by 235 mm and weighs around 800 grams including packaging. When dosing, bear in mind that the ice in the chamber melts and adds to the final volume.

What does the Joerges Heritage Schümli taste like?

It is a blend of 100 percent Arabica beans with a mild but full aroma and a pleasant, light acidity.

A silky crema is typical of this coffee. The flavour profile is mild, full and smooth, making it a harmonious coffee without sharp bitterness. If you find it too sour in your machine, use a slightly finer grind size or raise the brewing temperature.

How many cups of coffee do you get from 250 grams of Segafredo Selezione 100% Arabica?

This pack contains 250 grams of whole coffee beans. For filter coffee, allow about 5 to 8 grams per cup, which comes to roughly 30 to 50 cups per pack.

If you make espresso, you use about 16 to 20 grams for a double, which works out at some 12 to 15 double espressos. Please note: these are beans and not ground coffee.

Is there sugar in Love from the Caribbean tea?

Yes. The mango and pineapple pieces are candied and the coconut flakes are sugared, so the blend does contain sugar. In your cup you mainly taste that as a natural sweetness, which means extra sugar is usually not needed. For the exact composition, check the packaging.

Does Pacific Dreams turn bitter if the tea bag steeps for longer?

No. This blend is deliberately kept mild and does not turn bitter, not even if the bag stays in the cup a little longer. That makes it a pleasant choice if you often find black tea too strong, or if you do not always finish your cup in time. A longer steeping time does make the tea a little fuller in flavour.

What is this extra virgin olive oil best used for?

This oil comes into its own in cold preparations. Think of a splash over a salad, over bruschetta, over grilled vegetables or fish. You can also finish pasta and light meat dishes with it at the last moment, so that the fruity aroma is preserved.
