Can I choose the three Kimbo blends in this tasting pack myself?

No, this is a fixed bundle with three predetermined blends. Swapping or exchanging within the pack is not possible.

If you would like one of the three in a larger quantity, order that blend separately. The Espresso Barista, the Espresso Bar Top Flavour and the Gran Gourmet are also available separately by the kilo in our webshop.

How do I store an opened bag of Senseo Strong coffee pads?

Seal the bag well after opening and keep it cool, dark and dry. The coffee in a pad is already ground and therefore loses its aroma faster than whole beans, so it is better to finish an opened bag within a few weeks. Do not put the pads in the fridge: moisture and odours come at the expense of the taste.

How do I store an opened bag of Café du Jour Melktopping?

Close the bag properly after use and store it dry, cool and dark. Milk powder attracts moisture and starts to clump as a result, so do not put the bag right next to a coffee machine that gives off steam.

You will find the best before date on the bag. Note that the bag may differ from the photo; the contents, ingredients and nutritional values are identical.

Can I also make iced tea with Popcorn Cherry Bliss?

Yes, this tea is certainly as good cold as it is hot. Brew it twice as strong as usual, let it cool down and pour it over ice cubes with a wedge of lemon.

Even when brewing it stronger, keep the water temperature at 70 to 80 degrees so the green tea does not turn bitter. The fruity cherry and berry notes come through especially well when cold.

What is the best way to store Gimoka Espresso 24 coffee beans?

Store the beans cool, dark and well sealed, for example in the original bag with the seal closed or in an airtight tin. Do not put coffee in the fridge, because moisture and other smells affect the aroma.

Unopened, coffee stays good for about a year. Once opened it tastes best within a few months. The best before date is on the packaging.

Do I need a tea strainer for 2001 night loose tea?

Yes, this is loose tea without bags, so you need a tea strainer, tea filter or filter bag. Preferably use a roomy strainer with a fine mesh: the tea leaves need room to expand, while the small petals and jasmine blossom should not end up in your cup. You will find tea strainers and loose tea filters in our tea accessories.

Is the Brita Marella XL water filter jug dishwasher safe?

The jug is dishwasher safe, apart from the lid. Wash the lid by hand, so that the BRITA Memo and the filling flap stay intact. Take the filter cartridge out before you put the jug in the dishwasher.

How do you store Good night loose herbal tea?

Store the tea dry, dark and well sealed, for example in a tea tin or in the folded down bag. Light and moisture make the floral aromas of rose petals and orange blossom disappear the fastest. Do not put the tea right next to coffee or strong spices, because those smells are easily absorbed.

How many cups do you get from 100 grams of Chocolate Cookie tea?

At about 2 grams per cup, you get some 50 cups out of this 100 gram bag. It is loose tea, so a tea strainer, tea filter or filter bag is needed. Take a roomy strainer, because the cocoa beans and almond pieces are slightly larger than loose tea leaves.

What is the difference with the Kimbo tasting pack Mild and Aromatic?

This pack brings together the darkest, most intense Kimbo blends: full, bittersweet and strong, in Neapolitan style, with a thick crema and a long finish. The Mild and Aromatic pack contains soft 100% Arabica blends that are low in bitterness and fruity aromatic.

In short: choose Strong and Intense if you like power and bite, and Mild and Aromatic if you are looking for subtle flavour nuances and a soft crema.

How do you store China Jasmin loose leaf green tea?

Store the tea dry, dark and well sealed. Green tea with blossom loses its scent fastest through light, heat and moisture, so an airtight tea tin in a kitchen cupboard works better than a transparent jar on the worktop. Do not keep it in the fridge and keep it away from coffee and spices.

What is the Hario V60 Iced Coffee Maker made of and is it dishwasher safe?

The dripper and the server are made of heat resistant glass, the holder is silicone rubber and the ice chamber is made of PCT resin. The set is made in Japan.

According to the product details the Hario V60 Iced Coffee Maker is dishwasher safe. We do recommend placing the glass parts carefully so that they do not knock against other crockery.

What is the best way to store Segafredo Selezione 100% Arabica coffee beans?

Store the beans cool, dark and well sealed, for example in the original packaging or in an airtight tin. Do not put them in the fridge, because coffee beans absorb moisture and smells there.

Unopened, a pack of coffee beans stays good for about a year, although coffee tastes best within a few months. Once you have opened the 250 gram pack, use it up within a few weeks for the best flavour.

With the CLARIS Smart+ filter, do I no longer need to descale?

The CLARIS Smart+ filter already holds back limescale and impurities in the water tank, so less scale ends up in your machine. A water filter and a descaler are two different things though: the filter works up front, while a descaler removes scale that has already built up. Your JURA indicates itself when descaling is needed, so simply follow that message.

Do I get whole coffee beans or ground coffee with Passalacqua Grancaffé?

You receive whole coffee beans in a bag of 1 kilo. So you need a coffee grinder or a machine with a built in grinder.

Only grind the beans just before brewing. For espresso you use a fine espresso grind, for a percolator or filter machine a coarser grind.
