The Lazarro Espresso is medium roasted and therefore keeps more of the bean's natural sweetness. You mainly taste chocolate and nuts, with a smooth finish.
The Dark Roast is roasted darker and tastes smokier and stronger, with less sweetness and more bitterness. If you like an approachable espresso, choose this Lazarro Espresso. If you want it really intense, the Dark Roast is the better choice.
A MAXTRA+ filter cartridge is included with the jug. According to the product data, the jug is also compatible with the MAXTRA PRO ALL-IN-1 and MAXTRA PRO EXPERT cartridges, the anti-limescale version.
Not sure about another type? Then check on the cartridge packaging or on your current filter whether the MAXTRA designation matches. We advise against using cartridges that are not part of this range.
Pour the 75 cl bottle of red wine into a pan and add 2 tablespoons of mulled wine spices, plus 2 tablespoons of sugar to taste. Heat the wine over a low heat and let it steep for 5 to 15 minutes, depending on how pronounced you want the spices to be. Then strain the wine to remove the spices and pour it into glasses. A slice of orange or a cinnamon stick is optional. One bottle gives you about 6 servings.
You receive 250 grams of whole coffee beans, not ground coffee. So you need a coffee grinder or a machine that grinds the beans itself.
Match the grind size to your appliance: espresso grind for an espresso machine, filter grind for a filter coffee maker. Coffee that is ground incorrectly runs through too quickly or too slowly.
The AeroPress Clear works with the round AeroPress paper microfilters. They give you a cup of coffee without grounds and can be reordered separately in a pack of 350 pieces.
You use one filter per cup. Place it in the filter cap, rinse it briefly with hot water and then twist the cap onto the brewing chamber.
L'OR Elegant Espresso has intensity 4, which makes it a distinctly mild coffee. You taste refined notes of lemon zest and a hint of sweet marmalade, rounded off by a light nutty undertone.
The roast is medium, which keeps the coffee fresh and approachable and stops it from turning bitter quickly.
A MAXTRA PRO filter cartridge lasts up to 4 weeks or 150 litres. After that you replace it with a new cartridge.
The BRITA Smart Light on the jug keeps track of this for you with a colour indicator: green means the filter is fine, orange means a replacement is almost due and red means it is time for a new cartridge.
Yes. The strainer of these tea tongs is made of fine mesh rather than coarse holes, so finely cut types of tea stay in place well. Think of fine rooibos, herbal blends and broken tea leaf. Only powdered tea such as matcha does not belong in a strainer, you stir that straight into the water.
Original Beans seeks out rare and authentic cocoa varieties itself and works together with the farmers who grow them. With the proceeds from this Esmeraldas bar you support the protection of the last cloud forests of Ecuador, around the Mache Chindul Ecological Reserve. In our product data this particular bar does not carry an official organic certification.
This blend combines Arabica beans from South America with intense Robusta beans from Asia. The beans are given a dark roasting profile, a dark roast, which gives the coffee a pronounced character and plenty of intensity. You buy the coffee as whole beans in a 1 kilo pack. The coffee belongs to the Costa Coffee Home Edition range, intended for making this brand's specialities at home.
Yes. L'OR Vibrant Espresso is a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans. Robusta gives extra body, a firmer crema and a spicy note, and so provides the strength you taste in this blend.
The flavour profile leans towards cedarwood and nutmeg, with a subtle hint of bittersweet black pepper.
The beans come from sustainable plantations and carry the Rainforest Alliance certification, the logo with the green frog. That is the only certification linked to this blend.
The Costa Coffee Character Bright Blend does not have an organic certification.
Both are Italian blends of arabica and robusta that we sell as whole beans in a 1 kilo bag, with notes of cocoa and lightly roasted nuts.
The difference lies mainly in the strength. We rate the Aroma Classico at intensity 10 and the Gusto Ricco at 13. The Gusto Ricco is therefore the strongest of the two.
Yes. This blend is intended as an intense espresso, but just as much as a base for classic Italian coffee specialities such as cappuccino, latte macchiato and flat white.
The powerful body and the notes of nuts and chocolate remain clearly recognisable through the milk. Allow roughly 16 to 20 grams of ground coffee for a double espresso as the base.
The outside is made of natural wood. In this new version the environmentally harmful glued plywood laminates of the old model have been replaced with natural wood, with the same stability and sturdiness.
Inside there is a removable plastic inner container made of PVC. It catches the coffee grounds and lifts straight out so you can empty and clean it.
