For cold brew, our customer service usually recommends a 100% arabica bean. A smooth, nutty or slightly sweet coffee works nicely, and a dark roast is possible too as long as it is not too bitter. If you order beans from us, on request we grind them straight away to the right grind size for cold brew.

No. Vervain is a herbal tea made from verbena and contains no tea leaf, so the tea is naturally caffeine free. That means you can still drink it late in the evening. The fresh citrus note also makes it pleasant after a hearty meal.

No. Red Rooibos Chai is made with rooibos as its base and not with black tea, as a classic chai is. Rooibos is naturally caffeine free, so this blend contains no caffeine or theine.

Do bear in mind that this is a dark roast. Dark roasted beans have a slightly oilier surface, which some bean to cup machines are more sensitive to than others. We therefore advise you to keep the grinder and the bean hopper clean on a regular basis.

You get three 250 gram tins of ground coffee: illy Classico, illy Intenso and illy Decaffeinato. Classico is the mild, balanced roast, Intenso is the darker and stronger version that used to be called illy Zwart, and Decaffeinato is the decaffeinated illy. Please note: decaffeinated does not mean caffeine free, a small residual amount remains. Together that is 750 grams of ground coffee. The composition of this pack is fixed and cannot be changed.
