What is the difference between this Matcha Latte Mix and pure matcha powder?

This Matcha Green Tea Latte Mix is a ready to use mix for a matcha latte. Besides matcha (6 percent) it contains sugar, coconut oil and milk protein among other ingredients, which makes your drink soft, creamy and lightly sweetened. Pure matcha powder consists only of ground green tea, without sugar or milk components, and therefore tastes stronger and more bitter. If you want the traditional, unsweetened matcha, choose the pure matcha powder instead of this latte mix.

How do you make a matcha latte with the Matcha Green Tea Latte Mix?

Take 1 glass of milk, or half milk and half water, and add 3 heaped teaspoons of Matcha Green Tea Latte Mix. Blend it all with a blender or milk frother into a smooth, creamy drink. You do not need to strain the mix, because the powder dissolves completely. To taste, add ice cubes, honey or a pinch of cinnamon.
