Matcha set - Aurora - Ø13 cm | H7 cm

Put 1.5 to 2 grams of matcha powder, about a teaspoon using the bamboo scoop, into the bowl and pour in about 70 ml of water at 70 to 80 degrees. Do not use boiling water.

Whisk everything with the bamboo whisk in a W motion until a fine layer of froth forms. If you want a thicker tea, use about 4 grams of matcha with 40 ml of water and whisk in an O motion.

You do not need to filter matcha, you drink the powder along with it. You can also prepare the matcha with about 200 ml of warm, frothed milk for a matcha latte.

The Matchaset Aurora consists of a ceramic matcha bowl, a bamboo matcha whisk, a bamboo matcha scoop and a whisk holder. The set comes in a cardboard gift box.

Matcha powder is not included. You order that separately, so you can choose for yourself which matcha you want to use.

The matcha bowl of the Aurora set has a diameter of about 13 cm and a height of about 7 cm. That is plenty of room to whisk with the bamboo whisk without spilling.

The bowl is made of porcelain and is produced in Japan, with a white and blue painted design.

Rinse the bamboo whisk with warm water immediately after use, without soap or scouring agents. Then let it dry on the whisk holder supplied, so the prongs keep their round shape and are less likely to break off.

We advise against putting the bamboo parts in the dishwasher. Store the whisk and the scoop in a dry place.
