What makes this matcha special?
Our Japanese matcha is made by stone-grinding whole green tea leaves, so in the cup you drink the entire leaf. It is not a medical product and we cannot attribute any health effects to it: its strength lies in the full, velvety taste, with the typical umami note and a slightly sweet finish. It naturally contains caffeine, which makes it a good choice in the morning or early afternoon.
Is it necessary to use a special matcha whisk, or will it work without one?
For the best results, we recommend using a matcha whisk (chasen). This ensures that the powder dissolves completely and forms a nice layer of foam. If you don't have one, you can also use a small whisk, milk frother, or a well-sealed shaker.
