This water filter purifies tap water from substances like chlorine, lead, and copper, but the machine will not stay entirely free from limescale. We recommend descaling your machine at least twice a year (always remove the water filter before descaling). Each cartridge filters 50 liters of water, which is equivalent to around 400 cups of coffee or 1000 cups of espresso. In any case, replace the filter every two months.
