This chocolate delivers a beautifully balanced cocoa taste from Öko-Caribe, featuring deep notes of cocoa and red fruits enhanced by a subtle peppery hint, which adds a warm, spicy, and slightly tangy flavour.

Founders Adriano de Jesus Rodriguez and Gualberto Acebey Torrejon bring extensive experience in cocoa farming. Öko Caribe collaborates closely with 165 cocoa farmers in the Duarte province. Their commitment to quality leads to strong partnerships with the farmers, including training in organic farming techniques, care, and processing. Thanks to micro-credit and the superior quality and organic premium, farmers can sell their crops at significantly higher prices. The cocoa trees grow alongside bananas, avocados, oranges, and other tropical fruits. The beans are meticulously fermented in wooden boxes, sun-dried, and hand-selected.

Due to Gualberto and Adriano's dedication, exceptional beans are produced, offering deep cocoa and red fruit notes with a surprisingly warm, spicy pepper touch.
