Hario V60 starter pack - dripper, measuring spoon, filters and coffee - 2 to 4 cups

An incredibly nice gift for the coffee lover to start brewing coffee the Hario V60 way. The Hario V60 dripper is probably the most popular coffee brewing method in the world. Hario V60 drippers take their name from the 60-degree angle of the V-shape of the conical dripper. The large hole in the middle lets you, the home barista, control the flavour by adjusting the flow. The ribs on the inside let the coffee expand and oxygen escape.
This package is ideal for getting started with the V60. All you need yourself is a kettle and a large mug or coffee pot.
- Hario V60 02 white plastic dripper
- Hario measuring spoon
- Hario V60 02 white coffee filters produced in the Netherlands
- 250 grams of freshly roasted Café du Jour 100% arabica Brazil coffee (filter grind)
Café du Jour 100% arabica Brazil coffee
The coffee included is Café du Jour 100% arabica Brazil. These have been selected for their excellent quality and overall flavour profile. This makes them excellent for use, for example, in places where many people drink coffee with different flavours such as for visitors. Each batch is visually inspected so the number of coffee beans with errors (too small, too big, different colour) is zero. For our coffee, we were looking for a bean that is just a touch more qualitative and larger than other popular coffees. This is the perfect stepping stone to speciality coffee beans if you have been drinking coffee beans from the supermarket for years but are now looking for something better.
Hario is a Japanese company that has been around since 1921 and originally produced heat-resistant glass. After World War II, they started to focus more on household items, the first being a coffee siphon. In the following years, the company grew into a leading manufacturer of coffee and tea accessories.
