Aeropress® CLEAR Coffee Maker - Coffee and Espresso Maker

For the AeroPress Clear a grind that sits between filter grind and percolator works best. If you have your coffee ground by us, choose the grind setting Aeropress: that sits exactly between a filter grind and a percolator grind.

If the coffee runs through too quickly or tastes thin, grind a little finer. If it turns bitter or runs through with difficulty, choose a little coarser.

The AeroPress Clear works with the round AeroPress paper microfilters. They give you a cup of coffee without grounds and can be reordered separately in a pack of 350 pieces.

You use one filter per cup. Place it in the filter cap, rinse it briefly with hot water and then twist the cap onto the brewing chamber.

The AeroPress Clear is made of crystal clear, break resistant Tritan. That lets you see exactly what happens while brewing, which makes dosing and timing easier.

Apart from that it works on the same 3 in 1 principle as the other AeroPress models: immersion, microfiltration and air pressure in a short preparation. The material is BPA free and the AeroPress Clear is dishwasher safe.

The AeroPress Clear has a capacity of 10 oz and is therefore good for 1 to 2 cups at a time. Brewing and cleaning together take about two minutes.

The coffee maker is 5.25 inches high and 4.2 inches wide, so it is compact enough to take with you when travelling or to the office.

Yes. Besides an espresso style preparation, the AeroPress Clear lends itself well to cold brew and iced coffee. The fast extraction with little bitterness works nicely for cold preparations.

For iced coffee you brew a concentrated cup and pour it straight over ice. For cold brew you let the coffee steep for longer before you press down the plunger.
