agricultureAround the year 1700, the Spanish brought the coffee beans they found near Ethiopia to Honduras. Today, about 13 million kilos of special (organic and/or Fairtrade) coffee are produced in Honduras every year. From this, SUN coffee selects the best coffee to import. The process: the coffee beans are picked in 3-5 rounds and washed with clear water. The beans are 100% sun-dried. Some of the coffee beans are naturally decaffeinated using water and carbon before being delivered to SUN coffee in Zaandam. SUN roasts the coffee beans according to the slow roast process in its own roastery into delicious coffee.
Flavour: full of aroma and a slightly sweet, mild flavour. Gives a good balance in your cup of coffee. This espresso roast is perfect for cappuccino, espresso or ristretto.
