Joefrex - Espresso machine water filter Universal - 1 piece

Optimise the water quality of your espresso machine with this universal water filter. With a diameter of 4 cm, a length of 10 cm, this filter is suitable for machines with a suction hose and vibration pump. The filter cartridge contains ion exchange resin that removes limescale from the water, keeping your machine protected from limescale and improving the taste of your espressos.

Use and installation:

1. Soak the filter in water for 15 minutes to fully saturate the resin beads.
2. Connect your machine's hose to the filter and place it in the water tank.
3. Flush the machine with 1-2 cups of water to wash away any residual flavours, and the filter is ready to use.

This filter is compatible with many espresso machines with the most commonly used hose size: 4 mm inside 7 mm outside diameter.

It does not fit well on some Rancilio models with thicker hoses. Check your machine before using the filter. If the inner size is exactly 6mm (9mm outside) it just doesn't fit properly. In that case, look for DVA - Water Filter Espresso Machine Universal.

How long does the filter last? In normal use, this water filter filters up to 225 litres of water at a water hardness of 10 DH. For best results and to protect your machine, we recommend replacing the filter monthly. This prevents excessive calcification and ensures that your espresso machine continues to perform at top level.
