Blending Coffee Beans Yourself - Fresh coffee beans - 1 kg

Create your own coffee blend online! Recently, our expert roaster and blender has had fewer coffee breaks. Each order includes 2 x 1kg of coffee beans that you can customise here. Define your own blend, and the blending master will handle the rest. The roasting date is marked on each package.
Ready to take your coffee experience to the next level? Always wanted to try something new? Curious about the taste of truly fresh coffee beans? Now you can create your own coffee bean blend!
As soon as you place an order from this page, the Café du Jour roastery gets to work, and your coffee beans are prepared. These beans are roasted no more than four weeks ago, typically between a city and full city roast, and then blended according to your specifications below.
Extra fresh
Each pack is marked with its roast date, which often coincides with the week you place your order. Our beans are never older than four weeks. Although the coffee can be kept for about a year, we recommend consuming it within two months for the best taste.
Is this for me?
Absolutely! Everyone should try coffee this way at least once. Many pre-packaged coffees sit in warehouses for days or even months before they reach your home coffee machine. Our beans are guaranteed to be roasted just a few hours before they arrive at your door. If you've never tried beans this fresh, you're in for a delightful surprise.
Which coffee beans can I choose?
We've selected a variety of beans for you to choose from. We suggest picking one or two Arabica varieties and optionally adding Robusta. If you choose Robusta in addition to Arabica, we'll blend in the desired amount for a slightly bolder flavour. To ease choice overload: start with the Arabica Brazil Santos alone or combine it with Indonesia Robusta. Use this as a base and experiment with brewing. If it's not as bold, fruity, or spicy as you desire, adjust your selection in your next order. For added acidity, mix in our Guatemala; for a spicier flavour, try Ethiopia Lekempti; for a chocolatey taste, opt for Colombia.
Your preferences are personal, but remember, what's not pleasant in a meal might not go well with coffee either. We avoid mixing a very sour coffee (Guatemala) with a spicy one (Ethiopia). However, a mildly sweet coffee (Brazil Santos) blends well with a slightly sour one (Guatemala), and adding Robusta (10-30%) can enhance the spice. Don't hesitate too long but keep track of your choice so you can continue to refine your blend next time. We also note your choice on the packaging—great for both you and the roaster ;-).
What roast level are the beans?
Our beans are roasted between city and full city. They're non-greasy, making them suitable for use in automatic coffee machines.
Looking for something special?
In most cases, yes! You can include additional instructions in the comments section for the roaster. It helps if you leave a phone number in case we need to get in touch about your special request. We often receive requests to include a gift card—just tell us the occasion and recipient, and we'll add a special touch at no extra cost. If you want a name on the packaging, we can do that with a sticker. Please be as clear as possible with your requests.
Resealable Coffee Packaging
Café du Jour beans always come in special resealable packaging. Each coffee bag features a resealable rim, allowing you to keep your coffee airtight. The bag also includes a valve so gases can escape without letting outside air in, ensuring your coffee stays as fresh as possible!
