Hario V60 - Coffee Dripper, Coffee Pot, Coffee Filters & Measuring Spoon - Complete Set

For the V60 you use a filter grind, so clearly coarser than an espresso grind. Our customer service gets this question regularly: the filter grind is the grind for devices such as the V60, Melitta and Moccamaster.

If you order ground coffee from us, choose the filter grind option. If you grind it yourself, a particle size like coarse sea salt is a good starting point. If your coffee runs through very quickly and tastes thin, grind a little finer.

The dripper in this set is size 02, so you need V60 filter paper in size 02. The set already contains 40 filters, so you can start straight away.

Filters for size 01 are smaller and do not sit properly in an 02 dripper. So when reordering, always check the size marking 02 on the packaging.

The set contains four parts: the plastic Hario V60 dripper in size 02, a heat resistant glass server of 600 ml for 1 to 4 cups, 40 V60 filter papers and a 12 gram measuring spoon.

That gives you everything you need to start making pour-over coffee straight away. All you still need is ground coffee and hot water. The composition of the set is fixed and cannot be changed.

The glass server has a capacity of 600 ml and is intended for 1 to 4 cups. The size 02 dripper matches that.

The supplied spoon holds about 12 grams of coffee. For filter coffee we count on about 5 to 8 grams per cup, so with one level spoon you brew roughly two cups.

Clean the server and the pour-over filter with warm water and washing-up liquid. Rinse well, because coffee oil clings to the glass and the plastic and otherwise affects the taste of your next cup.

The paper coffee filters are intended for single use. After brewing, throw the filter away together with the coffee grounds.
