No. Good night is a herbal blend containing camomile, lemon balm and mint among other things, and it contains no leaf from the tea plant. So there is no caffeine in it, which makes this tea suitable for the end of the day.

The blend consists of spearmint, chamomile, lemon balm, blackberry leaf, strawberry leaf, rose petals and orange blossom. The chamomile and lemon balm provide the soft base, the rose petals and orange blossom add the floral accent. The full list of ingredients is on the packaging.

Use about 2 grams of loose leaf tea per cup and pour boiling water over it. Let the herbs steep for 5 to 8 minutes; a longer steeping time makes herbal tea fuller and not bitter. Cover your cup or pot while it steeps, so the volatile aromas of the blossom are better preserved.

At about 2 grams per cup you end up with around 50 cups per 100 grams. Because this is loose leaf tea, you will need a tea strainer, a tea filter or a filter bag. Choose a roomy strainer, because the leaves and blossoms expand considerably while steeping.

Store the tea dry, dark and well sealed, for example in a tea tin or in the folded down bag. Light and moisture make the floral aromas of rose petals and orange blossom disappear the fastest. Do not put the tea right next to coffee or strong spices, because those smells are easily absorbed.
