The Brita Aquagusto is a water filter that can be placed directly into the water tank of your coffee machine. It ensures optimal filtration on its own. Replace the filter every 100 litres (800 cups / 6 kg of coffee) or 250 litres (2,000 cups / 15 kg of coffee), or every 6 months.

The BRITA AquaGusto is designed for all coffee machines with a water reservoir. You do not need to use an adapter or carry out any special installation. Simply place the filter loosely in the water reservoir and it will do its job automatically.

How do I know when the filter needs to be replaced?

The BRITA AquaGusto comes with a convenient replacement indicator. You stick this onto your coffee machine and press the button when installing the new filter. This way, you always have a clear view of when it is time to replace the filter (after 6 months or after the specified capacity, whichever comes first).

What is the effect of the AquaGusto on the taste and water quality of my coffee?

What is the difference between the AquaGusto 100 and 250 variants, and which one should I choose?

The difference lies in the capacity: the 100-variant filters up to 100 litres of water (800 cups, 6 kg of coffee) and the 250-variant up to 250 litres (2,000 cups, 15 kg of coffee). Both last up to 6 months. If your machine has a smaller water reservoir (such as the Dedica 685), we recommend the 100-variant, as the 250 can sometimes protrude partly above the water, which is less hygienic. For larger machines, the 250-variant is suitable.

Do I need to prepare the filter or can I place it directly into the water reservoir?

The filter does not require any special preparation. Simply place the BRITA AquaGusto in the water reservoir, preferably in the evening to allow it to start working. It will then automatically do its job while you use your coffee machine.
