Lavazza Super Gusto product information

For Super Gusto Lavazza combines natural Brazilian Arabica from Cerrado, Mogiana and South Minas with washed Colombian Arabica from the Andes and Asian Robusta. This composition produces a coffee with great depth, where sweet and spicy flavours are nicely balanced. The dark roast amplifies the full flavour without losing the coffee's aromatic character.

The flavour profile features aromas of dates, cinnamon, spiced biscuit and freshly baked bread. You will also notice subtle notes of honey, almond, caramel and dried fruit. Together these give the coffee a warm, full taste with a pleasant, spicy finish.

As an espresso Lavazza Super Gusto delivers a powerful, aromatic cup with a firm crema. In cappuccino and other milk-based drinks the spicy and sweet notes remain clearly recognisable, creating a full coffee taste that pairs well with milk. For filter coffee lovers this blend also offers plenty of body and character.

The coffee comes from certified plantations where attention is paid to people, the environment and sustainable cultivation. In this way Lavazza Super Gusto combines a distinctive flavour profile with carefully selected beans from different coffee regions.

Within the Lavazza range Super Gusto suits lovers of full-bodied, spicy coffee. Compared with milder blends such as Qualità Oro this coffee has more body, more spice and a warmer finish.

FAQ
Customer Questions
How does the Lavazza Super Gusto coffee taste compared to other Lavazza blends, such as the Oro?
Lavazza Super Gusto stands out with a more powerful and spicier character (intensity 8) and a full body. While Lavazza Oro has a somewhat milder flavour, with the Super Gusto you will clearly experience aromas of dried fruit, speculaas, cinnamon, and freshly baked bread. Some customers find it slightly more bitter and stronger than the Oro, which is ideal if you enjoy a robust cup of coffee.
Where do the flavours of speculaas, dried fruit and spices in this coffee come from?
The distinctive flavour notes of speculaas, cinnamon and dried fruit are the result of a blend of carefully selected Arabica and Robusta beans from Brazil, Colombia and Asia. Thanks to this composition, the coffee develops deep aromas, a lightly spiced undertone and a pleasantly full finish.
Is the taste of this coffee very bitter?
The Lavazza Super Gusto is described by most customers as powerful and full-bodied, with a rich flavour. Some experience a slight bitterness in the aftertaste, which is typical for strong blends containing Robusta. Many users find the coffee nicely balanced and not overwhelmingly bitter, especially if they enjoy a robust cup of coffee.
Is this coffee suitable for making a lungo or can it also be used for other brewing methods?
These beans are very suitable for a lungo due to their full flavour and powerful body, but you can also use them for espresso or cappuccino. Several customers indicate that they drink the coffee as a lungo and particularly appreciate the strong aroma without the flavour being lost.
