Costa has replaced the packaging of the Signature Blend with packaging carrying the name Mocha Italia. So if you order the Signature Blend Medium Roast, you may receive a pack with Mocha Italia on the front. It is the same medium roasted blend.

Yes. According to our product data this blend is intended for a bean to cup machine and a semi-automatic machine. You buy whole beans in a 1 kilo bag.

The roast is medium, so these are not dark, oily beans. That is exactly what the grinder of a bean to cup machine likes.

This is a blend of arabica and robusta with a medium roast. In the flavour you will recognise chocolate, roasted nuts and a subtle sweetness, with a smooth finish.

We list the intensity as 8, so powerful. The coffee comes into its own both black and in milk drinks such as cappuccino and latte macchiato.

For a double espresso you use around 16 to 20 grams of coffee. That gives you around 50 to 60 double espressos from 1 kilo.

If you brew filter coffee, you use around 5 to 8 grams per cup and the same bag will go a lot further.

Seal the bag properly after use and store the beans somewhere cool, dark and dry. Do not put them in the fridge, because moisture and other smells are coffee's biggest enemies.

Whole beans hold on to their aroma longer than ground coffee. So only grind the amount you need each time.
