Yes. Chocolate Cookie contains sugared almonds, alongside cocoa beans, rooibos and black tea. If you are allergic to nuts, this tea is not suitable. If in doubt, always go by the allergen information on the packaging.

Yes. Rooibos is naturally caffeine free, but this blend also contains black tea, and that does contain caffeine. Because the black tea makes up only part of the blend, the level is lower than in a pure black tea. If you want no caffeine at all, choose a pure rooibos or a herbal tea.

From real cocoa beans mixed through the blend, together with sugared almonds and flavouring. The rooibos and black tea form the base and provide the soft, slightly sweet undertone. There is no chocolate or biscuit in it; you taste the chocolate note, but you are simply drinking tea.

Use about 2 grams of loose tea per cup and pour boiling water over it. Let the blend steep for 4 to 5 minutes; because of the black tea, the cup becomes rather strong with a much longer steeping time. A dash of milk goes well with this tea and strengthens the creamy, biscuity character.

At about 2 grams per cup, you get some 50 cups out of this 100 gram bag. It is loose tea, so a tea strainer, tea filter or filter bag is needed. Take a roomy strainer, because the cocoa beans and almond pieces are slightly larger than loose tea leaves.
