Christmas classics - Loose tea - 3 x 100 grams

The pack contains three kinds of loose tea of 100 grams: Christmas Cookies, a black tea with the scent of fresh Christmas biscuits and cinnamon; Glühwein tea, a herbal tea with the flavour profile of mulled wine; and Christmas Rooibos, a rooibos with plenty of fruit and a little cinnamon.

All three are loose teas, not tea bags. Together the pack comes to 300 grams of tea.

That differs per variety. Christmas Cookies is a black tea and therefore naturally contains caffeine. The Christmas Rooibos and the Glühwein herbal tea are naturally caffeine free.

If you want another cup in the evening, the rooibos and the herbal tea from this pack are the logical choice.

No. The Glühwein tea is a herbal tea that comes close to the flavour profile of mulled wine, but without a drop of alcohol.

You simply brew it as a loose tea with hot water. That also makes this tea suitable for guests who do not drink alcohol.

With 3 x 100 grams of loose tea you end up with almost 150 cups. We base that on roughly 2 grams of loose tea per cup.

If you prefer to brew a whole pot, scale the dosage accordingly: count on roughly 2 grams for every cup that goes into the pot.

Take the strainer or the filter out as soon as the tea has steeped. If the tea keeps steeping, the black Christmas Cookies in particular turns bitter quickly.
