If you find the spiciness too strong, you can easily remove the visible chilli peppers from the loose tea, as some customers do.

Yes, because this is a loose-leaf tea, you can easily remove the larger pieces of chilli, ginger or cinnamon from the blend to make the tea milder. By taking out the chillies or other spicy ingredients before brewing, you make the flavour a bit softer and less sharp.

We recommend brewing the Ring of Fire black tea with water at 95-100°C and letting the tea steep for about 3 to 5 minutes. Depending on your taste, you can adjust the steeping time or the amount of tea for more or less intensity. If you want it less spicy, you can – as mentioned above – remove the chilli pieces.
