FAQ
Customer Questions
Does Pineapple and Papaya green tea contain caffeine?

Yes. The base of this blend is green tea, and green tea naturally contains caffeine, also known as theine. If you want something without caffeine in the evening, choose a rooibos or a herbal infusion.

What is in Pineapple and Papaya green tea?

This blend contains green tea, pineapple (sugar, pineapple, antioxidant citric acid), papaya (papaya, sugar, antioxidant calcium chloride, antioxidant citric acid), flavouring, strawflower and sunflower petals. You can clearly see the pieces of dried fruit and the petals in the tea. If you have an allergy, always check the ingredient list on the packaging.

How do you brew Pineapple and Papaya green tea?

We recommend about 2 grams of loose leaf tea per cup, which is roughly a level teaspoon. Use water at around 80 degrees and let the tea steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Boiling water makes green tea bitter, so let your kettle cool down for a moment. Because this is loose leaf tea, you need a tea strainer, a tea filter or tea tongs.

Can you use Pineapple and Papaya green tea as iced tea?

Yes, this sweet fruity blend is very well suited as iced tea. Brew the tea a little stronger than usual, let it cool and then pour it over ice cubes. If you want to brew it cold, let the tea steep for 4 to 12 hours in the fridge, depending on how strong you want it.

How many cups do you get from 100 grams of Pineapple and Papaya green tea?

At about 2 grams of loose leaf tea per cup, this 100 gram bag gives you around 50 cups. For iced tea you brew it stronger, so you end up with fewer cups. Store the tea dry, dark and tightly closed, and the fruity notes will keep the longest.
