Nicaragua Arabica SHG - unroasted coffee beans - 1 kilo

This SHG blend is grown by small farmers in Nicaragua. The coffee is fully washed and shows the Central American profile that is sweet and nutty with chocolate and citrus.

Strictly High Grown (SHG) indicates the altitude at which the coffee was grown. A coffee must be grown at 1,200 metres above sea level or higher to be considered SHG. The higher altitude and lower temperatures cause the coffee berry to ripen more slowly, creating a denser bean.

Note that this is unroasted coffee that therefore still needs to be roasted before consumption.
