Hario V60 Electric Coffee Grinder

The Hario V60 electric coffee grinder (EVCG-8B-E) has 44 grind settings. That takes you from very fine, towards Turkish coffee, through espresso grind to coarse grounds.

You can select the grind setting while grinding, which is handy if you use several brewing methods alongside each other.

The grinder is designed to grind straight into a V60 dripper, but thanks to its 44 grind settings it is, according to the manufacturer, also suitable for siphon, cold drip and everything in between.

The grind range runs from Turkish grind and fine espresso grind to coarse grounds, so you can serve a cafetiere or a percolator as well.

The bean hopper has a capacity of 240 grams. The grinder grinds around 3 grams per second.

We advise grinding only what you are going to use straight away. Ground coffee loses its aroma faster than whole beans.

This grinder works with conical stainless steel burrs. They cut the bean instead of smashing it, which gives a more even grind.

The burrs do not turn too fast, so the beans do not heat up while grinding and the fresh flavour is preserved.

The grinder comes with a European plug and runs on 220 to 240 volts, with a power rating of 120 to 150 watts.

The housing is metal and measures 230 mm wide, 135 mm deep and 390 mm high. The unit weighs 2.4 kg, so allow for the height under a kitchen cupboard.
