Caffè Hausbrandt Espresso (Nonnetti)
Caffè Hausbrandt Espresso (Nonnetti) - coffee beans - 1 kilo
This espresso blend from Hausbrandt contains about 75% arabica coffee and 25% robusta coffee. The coffee is slow-roasted according to Italian tradition. The flavour is very slightly sweet and nutty. It evokes associations of toasted bread and biscuits. The acidity is almost non-existent.
Previously, this coffee was called Nonnetti (Italian for Gramps), nowadays simply "espresso". But of course, the coffee is still the way the real Italian ladies of old would drink their coffee. And believe us, they have a taste for a good cup of coffee!
Hausbrandt is a coffee roaster from the coffee mecca of Trieste in Italy. They have been making, successfully, delicious typical Italian blends since 1892. Hausbrandt quickly gained popularity in the late 19th century due to a packaging method that was modern for the time. Right from the roastery, the roasted coffee beans were packaged in airtight metal tins. Today, the coffee from one of the first Italian coffee roasters simply comes in bags, but prints that provide that nostalgic feeling that comes with Hausbrandt.
