FAQ
Customer Questions
Does Almond Coconut Oolong tea contain nuts?

Yes. Almond Coconut Oolong contains almonds and sweetened, toasted coconut flakes. If you are allergic to nuts, this tea is not suitable. We advise you to always go by the allergen information on the packaging if in doubt.

Does Almond Coconut Oolong contain caffeine?

Yes. The base of this blend consists of oolong and green tea, and both come from the tea plant and therefore contain caffeine. How much ends up in your cup depends on your dose and steeping time: a shorter steeping time gives a lighter cup. If you are looking for something caffeine free, take a look at a herbal or fruit tea.

What is in Almond Coconut Oolong?

The blend contains oolong, green tea, cassia bark, almonds, sweetened and toasted coconut chips, puffed rice, flavouring and natural cinnamon flavouring. The almond and coconut give the creamy note, the cassia bark and the cinnamon flavouring the spicy edge. The full list of ingredients is on the packaging.

At what temperature do you brew Almond Coconut Oolong?

We recommend water of around 80 degrees and a steeping time of 2 to 3 minutes. Boiling water quickly turns green tea and oolong bitter, so let your kettle cool down for a moment before you pour. Use about 2 grams of loose tea per cup. If you find the result too weak, extend the steeping time by half a minute instead of using hotter water.

How many cups do you get from 100 grams of Almond Coconut Oolong?

Count on about 2 grams per cup and this 100 gram bag will give you around 50 cups. It is loose tea, so you need a tea strainer, tea filter or filter bag. Choose a strainer that is roomy enough, because the almond and coconut pieces need space to swell.
