What is Segafredo Arabica?

Segafredo Selezione 100% Arabica gives you whole coffee beans in a 1 kilo pack. The light roast brings fruity and floral notes, a chocolaty flavour, a nutty aftertaste, and a smooth crema layer.

  • 100% Arabica whole beans
  • Light roast profile
  • Fruity, floral, chocolaty, and nutty notes
  • Smooth crema layer

Who is it suitable for?

These beans suit you if you want a regular cup with clear flavour and a light roast. The strength level is 6, and the whole-bean form lets you grind for the drink you want.

  • Espresso drinkers
  • Filter coffee drinkers
  • Cappuccino drinkers
  • Anyone who wants whole coffee beans in a 1 kilo pack

How do you use Segafredo Arabica?

Segafredo Arabica works well when you grind the beans fresh before brewing. Use it in a bean-to-cup machine or a portafilter machine, and grind it for filter coffee when you want a lighter cup.

  • Use a finer grind for espresso
  • Use a medium grind for filter coffee
  • Use it with milk for cappuccino
  • Keep the pack sealed after opening

FAQ
Customer Questions
Are the Segafredo Selezione 100% Arabica beans slow roasted?

Segafredo does not mention slow roasting anywhere on the packaging of the Selezione 100% Arabica, so we cannot confirm it and we assume it is not the case. In practice, treat this as a regularly roasted Italian blend. What you do get in the cup is the classic Italian profile: a velvety crema, a fruity and floral aroma, a chocolatey taste and a nutty aftertaste.

If you are specifically after slow roasted beans, have a look at the fresh coffee from Café du Jour. Those beans are slowly roasted by hand in small batches and the roast date is always printed on the front of the pack. Slow roasting generally gives a softer, less bitter cup with more nuance in the aroma.
