Origin and Passion for Cacao
The cacao beans for The D.A.R.C. Angel are carefully sourced via Direct Trade from Cacao Bisiesto in Nicaragua, an organisation led by Giff Laube and Jose Enrique Herrera. These cacao experts work closely with local farmers, fermenting and drying the beans themselves to guarantee the best quality. With a love for music – from funky jazz to exotic sounds – they create a unique atmosphere in the process, which you can taste in every bite. The chocolate is then produced from bean to bar at the Mesjokke factory in Utrecht.
