Saloy, a community of approximately 2,100 residents, is located on the outskirts of Davao city on the southern island of Mindanao. While Davao once thrived as the heart of cocoa production, Saloy is far from the hustle and bustle, nestled in the mountainous landscape and surrounded by lush tropical rainforest.
