Yes. The Kaffeehaus Mischung is intended as coffee for bean to cup machines in places where many different people with widely varying tastes drink coffee. The blend is deliberately approachable: not too bitter, not too sour, not too strong and not too weak.

The roast is medium, so the beans are not oily. That is exactly what you want in a bean to cup machine, because oily, dark roasted beans can clog the grinder and the powder chute.

These are whole coffee beans, not ground coffee. One pack contains 1 kilo of beans.

So you need a machine with its own grinder, for example a bean to cup machine, or a separate coffee grinder. Beans versus ground is the most common mistake when ordering coffee, so do check what your machine needs.

The Kaffeehaus Mischung is a blend of arabica and robusta beans. The beans come from Brazil, Colombia, Vietnam and India.

This is Gorilla's coffee house blend: a typically German cup of coffee. The taste is nutty and balanced, with an intensity of 6, which we classify as regular, and a medium roast.

It is deliberately a blend that has a bit of everything: not too bitter, not too sour, not too strong and not too weak. That makes it suitable for espresso, filter coffee and cappuccino. If your cup does turn out a little sour, grind slightly finer or brew with a hotter water temperature.

Store the beans cool, dark and well sealed. Not in the fridge: coffee picks up moisture and smells there.

Unopened, the beans stay good until the best before date on the pack. Once the pack is open, the coffee loses aroma through contact with oxygen. So seal the bag properly and only grind the amount you need at that moment. A 1 kilo pack lasts a long time, so top up the bean container of your machine as needed and leave the rest in the sealed bag.
