The Lömpe Böck is a tribute to our brewer Patrick, because he is just that.
If the best man can knock something over or bump into something, he is guaranteed to do so, a clumsy but often hilarious trait. One day that almost went wrong and he fell forward into a smouldering campfire, fortunately he is still among us, albeit a bit burned. Hence, this doppelbock brewed at Holevoort in Bakel is deliciously smoked as well as peated.
This one's for you Patrick, cheers!
